Support bills HB 2472 and SB 1209!

Yesterday the Farmers' Market Alliance's two top priority bills passed the PA Senate Floor unanimously! The Healthy Farms & Healthy Schools Act (SB 1209) will now go to the House Ag committee. The Farmers' Market Development Act (HB 2472) already passed the House, but it was amended so it needs to go back for one more vote in the House. We are hoping both will move before the Legislature breaks for the Nov. election. Both of these bills recognize the link between locally-grown fresh foods and improving public health through better nutrition - a trend the Farmers' Market Alliance is working to promote and expand.

Call your PA Representative today and tell them you support passage of HB 2472 and SB 1209!
