A note from the Ice Cream Maker:
In our view, Franklin was a man of integrity and we make ice creams true to his legacy. Milk & cream come from Berks and Lancaster Counties and are processed by a family-owned dairy dating back to 1920; the fruit, nuts and chocolates we incorporate into the flavors are obtained locally. Franklin Ice Cream is hand-made in Philadelphia and packed in the Original Ice Cream Carton, patented in the early 1900s.
A word on Franklin Fountain Fudge:
Local milk & cream comes fresh from a Berks County dairy. Wilbur's dark chocolate of Lititz, PA is tempered with pure Madagascar vanilla. REAL wholesome butter is employed, not Oleo or false additives. Franklin Fountain Fudge is cooked at their site in antique copper cauldrons.
