George Rude
Free Roaming Natural Poultry & Gamebirds

In 1973, we began raising twelve quail on two acres of a farm located in the small village of Griggstown near Princeton, N.J. At that time the farm was owned by Peter Josten. By the time George purchased the land from Josten in 1992, the Griggstown Quail Farm had grown to over 75 acres of land and had come to accommodate approximately 35,000 pheasants, 70,000 quail, 150,000 chickens and, when in season, Mallard and Muscovy ducks, turkeys, and partridge. All the birds were free roaming and all natural, a standard we keep to this day.

At their farm in Griggstown, NJ the Rudes raise chickens, poussins, pheasants, ducks, turkeys and quail. Served in the finest New Jersey & New York restaurants for over 30 years, our poultry is all natural, free roaming and raised without hormones or antibiotics. Their products include: farm fresh poultry, marinated poussins, chicken and quail eggs, chicken or turkey pot pies, assorted soups, turkey chili & turkey burgers, assorted quiches, assorted fruit pies, and chicken sausage.

We feed all our birds an all natural vegetarian feed with no hormones, antibiotics, steroids, or animal by product additives. All of our gamebirds and turkeys are free-range, and all of our chickens and poussins are free romaing, cage-free birds.
