Traditional Vinaigrette

 

Pick up the basic ingredients for this easy, tasty vinaigrette at Whole Foods, then customize your new house dressing with a trip to the farmers' market for spring garlic and thyme or tarragon.

Yields 1 1/4 cups

1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1/4 cup champagne vinegar
3/4 cup 365 extra virgin olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix Dijon mustard and champagne vinegar in a small bowl. Drizzle in olive oil while whisking to combine. Add salt and pepper to taste. Try adding finely chopped garlic and tarragon or thyme to add a fresh flavor.
