John and Sherry Jaunsem
Tomatoes, Artisan Condiments, and Dried Floral Arrangements

Sugar Hill Botanicals is husband and wife team John and Sherry Jaunsem who live on a small family farm of 16 acres on the sandy loam soils of the Delmarva peninsula in Accomac, Virginia on the Eastern Shore (about 1 hour from Ocean City, MD, 3 1/2 hrs from Philadelphia). We specialize in growing, preserving, and crafting with our own herbs, flowers, & vegetables. We are not open to the public, nor do we wholesale. Instead, we exhibit in juried shows along the East coast and farmers’ markets in Philadelphia, PA and Williamsburg, VA.

John’s early tomatoes are not be missed! We also produce several specialty food products: Garden Salsa, Heavenly Hot Sauce, Hot Pepper Jelly, Habanero Heat, and Eggplant Bruschetta all made from our own ingredients and recipes.

Sherry’s own homegrown dried herb and flower bouquets and arrangements (we never use silks) in their own natural, vibrant colors are made up into baskets, wreaths, and specialty period arrangements. We also carry our own fragrant handcrafted herbal soaps using all vegetable oils, herbs, and natural mineral colorants in the traditional cold process method.

John Jaunsem developed and marketed "Baby Boo, pvp", mini white pumpkin, patented in 2001. He is actively involved breeding new varieties of cucurbits.  Sherry Jaunsem is the author “Garlands and Festoons”.
