Tree Fruit
Located between Gettysburg and Carlisle in northern Adams County, Three Springs Fruit Farm has been family owned and operated for over 100 years. Operating as a partnership between David and John Wenk, the sixth generation to farm, Three Springs has a wide variety of apples, peaches, cherries, apricots, and blueberries in season for retail and wholesale. Additionally, fresh vegetables will be grown for this upcoming growing season. In 2007, David's son Ben Wenk returned from school to serve as principle scout and consultant for the farm's 350 acres and to oversee trips to area farmers markets.
Three Springs operates using extensive Integrated Pest Management strategies - biological control, reduced risk/low residual materials, and mating disruption among others. The farm's management is active in the Adams County Fruit Growers Association, State Horticulture Association of Pennsylvania, Farm Bureau, Ag Innovations, Young Grower Alliance, and other organizations from the local level to the international level. We're all eager to both meet and provide produce for citizens of the Philadelphia area!
